The Voyonic Grampian Forest Rally
Where is the event?

The Rally is based at Milton of Crathes which is 3 miles from Banchory, Aberdeenshire and only 17 miles from Aberdeen city centre.
When is the event?
-
The event kicks off on the 9th August at around 17:00, cars will then have a ceremonial start at our BRAND NEW spectator hub located in the middle of Banchory, before completing 2 special stages.

Saturday 10th August is a full packed day with the cars competing in 7 additional stages whilst also coming back to the King George V Park in Banchory and also our service area at Milton of Crathes throughout the day to undergo servicing by their crews.
How do I get to the event?

Closest airport is Aberdeen International Airport (ABZ)

Train station can either be Aberdeen or Stonehaven.

If using the bus, the station is located within Union square taking buses from all over UK. From here you can get a transfer towards Banchory on either - 201, 202, 203.
Where can I stay overnight?
There are plenty hotels and Airbnb's around the local area however we recommend the following locations:

Where will I be able to spectate?
Exact spectating information will be available closer to the event however to give you an understanding of what will be available:

Ceremonial Start takes place on the Friday with a chance to see cars and drivers up close for photos and autographs. The ceremonial start takes place at our brand new fan zone at King George V Park in Banchory. Keep an eye on the website with more details to be released...

Our service area, located at Milton of Crathes showground, will be open to the public giving you a chance to see professional mechanics quickly work on the cars and get them ready again in a short space of time! Truly something magnificent to watch.

Head into the forests and see the cars at maximum pace whilst watching from our safe spectating areas.

Re-group areas will also be available watching the cars come in after competing in stages. The cars stay here for 10-30 mins whilst waiting for the other crews before heading into the service area.
What do I need to do when spectating?

Listen to the marshals! They are there for your support and safety...

Please ensure you have read and understand all our spectator information once released. Throughout the whole event you will see plenty of signage, please ensure that you adhere to all instructions and guidance as it is there for YOUR safety.

It's important to remember that Motorsport is dangerous. Despite the organisers taking all reasonable precautions, unavoidable accidents can happen. In respect of these, you are present at your own risk at all times.
Does it cost money to spectate?

We do not charge ANYTHING for spectators at our events.

However, if taking your car to one of our designated car parks we will ask for an expected donation of £10 per car towards our chosen charity. Donation buckets will also be around the popular areas for our charity.
